Space "exploration" news: Oscar-winning composer Emer Bernstein dead at 82
This one seems to have missed recognition in the newsgroup, although
most of you already know it from elsewhe the composer of the theme for "IBM Mathematics Peep Show" (1961), "House of Science" (1964), "Copernicus" (1973/I), and a modest number of mainstream Hollywood films, died August 18, 2004. A bad year for film music, eh? Bernstein, Goldsmith, David Raksin. /dps |

Brian 82, 75, 92, 55 Hans Zimmer and James Horner are at about half the career of the above kids (and close to Kamen). Someone on hometheaterforum.com pointed out that John Williams is 72. Time to get those rejeuvenators back in to working order. /dps |
