Default ASTRO: Any good but lesser known astro sites?

Hi,

Many of you who have been here awhile and thus on the Internet probably have
come across some interesting astronomy sites - not the Top 20 that we all
generally know about, but lesser known but good sites. If so, would you be
willing to share some of them here for us?

Thanks,
Jeffrey

Jeff,

There's an endless supply of astro websites out there. I suggest that you
'google' a topic, like "supernova" or "galaxy formation" or "moon maps",
etc. I've found a 'gold mine' when doing this, finding stuff like astronomy
"labs", class notes, and other similar stuff at college websites. These
items are intended for the students taking the classes, but often have
interesting items or link lists. If you feel like processing HST images
there's an endless supply of raw HST fit files (be prepared to deal with
many cosmic ray trails).
