Default Energia pictures of Klipper mockup posted to web

Someone on the Yahoo Space-modlers group mentioned that Energia
pictures
of a Klipper mockup have been posted to the web. Here is the URL they
gave.

http://www.photocenter.ru/myphoto/fi...LBrsAAAAE.html

In Tiny URL its:

Other than that, I don't have any info about the pictures, but I
thought
people here would like to see them.

Thank for the link! Interesting stuff. What the hell's in the
background of picture #15? A Buran mockup?

I love the shuttle, and other hardware, in the background.

It seems to be.

If those pictures are from where I think they have been taken, namely the
KISS assembly facility at RSC-Energyia, then it is definitely a Buran
mock-up, as there is one there. However, pictures are supposedly forbidden
there, so it may have been somewhere else.

I especially like the picture 15, of the Active Docking assembly. It's
straight the same as Progress ( which is also reused for ATV ). I wonder on
the drive electronic they will use for it. Will it be the old Progress one,
or a derivated of the new one ( devellopped for ATV )? The former is
well-proven, but a bit out of date. The later is more modern but still has
some teething problems.

Nice pictures, Rusty! It is very interesting to see the views of the
highbay the mockup Klipper is being assembled in; particularly those
interesting views of what appears to be one of the high fidelity Buran
shuttle orbiter mockups.

Have a close look at picture 25, there's a complete Soyuz/Progress
orbital module tucked in there. The second picture down on
http://www.astronautix.com/craft/kliper.htm shows it more clearly. I'd
suspect minimal changes will be made.

Nice find, Rusty! It's good to finally get some decent shots of the thing.
I stumbled on some photos of the TU-130 spaceplane or MARV what's-it a
couple of weeks ago this dated from the late 50's-early 60's:

....as well as the Tu-136 Soviet Dyna-Soar program clone:
