Default Global Warming *and* the Leap Second!

This news item

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/se...tion-1.3361446

notes that scientists were expecting the effects of global warming on glaciers to
change the Earth's rotation - but it was not doing so as much as they expected.

It notes that a paper with a resolution of this mystery, based on an acceleration
in the rotational rate of the Earth's metal core, has been presented.
