Global Warming *and* the Leap Second!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/se...tion-1.3361446 notes that scientists were expecting the effects of global warming on glaciers to change the Earth's rotation - but it was not doing so as much as they expected. It notes that a paper with a resolution of this mystery, based on an acceleration in the rotational rate of the Earth's metal core, has been presented. John Savard |
