[fitsbits] Start of the CONTINUE keyword Public Comment Period
On Thu 2007/07/12 21:39:13 -0400, Tom McGlynn wrote in a message to: Tom McGlynn and copied to: Does anyone know of any other syntax that uses a similar method of continuation? IDL continuations are similar. IDL provides yet another variant to add to the mix. However, syntactically it is quit different: 1) '$' must occur as the last character on the line. 2) It is a separate token, not part of another. 3) It is not redundant; when '$' occurs as the last character the continuation is unconditional, because... 4) ...the continued line does not contain additional syntax.
