Hi Bob. I merged the two images, your version and my version, using mine
as a luminescence layer. Here is the result (of course, the resolution is
low, but still, it's not too bad):

First: these are beautiful images!

If you have software that can do it, I'd like to see the M-43 region
shown at full resolution, with both versions, side-by-side in the same
image. That way we can compare them better.

Do you shoot 'raw' files, or 'jpg'? Have to tried comparing imaging at
400 vs. 800ASA?

Have you tried using the modified camera for 'normal' imaging? Can it be
done?
