But none of those are the original 1:1 raw format. In fact, they is a
composite of stacked and false colorized images.

Yep, pretty cool. Now, if the Kepler team would get it together...

The James Webb space telescope is said to be
a full rev better than Hubble.

I can't wait.

Did they consult with GuthBall yet as to what kind of cameras to use,
resolution properties of images etc ?? He'll be very upset if they do it
against HIS better judgment once again.

I'm sure he'd prefer the shoebox/pinhole approach to photography. Or,
the old way of using monochrome plates. Though, he does seem to have
a problem with monochrome and the concept of what "light gathering" is,
or the various methods of achieving such. Plus, what resolution is,
or exactly the notion of what sort of millimeter wave recording may
be done with certain technologies.

Especially those itty bitty millimeter waves ... GuthBall hates them ...
very difficult to replicate with crayons ...

There's no shortage of pixels or dynamic range, except TRACE still
takes better close-up images of stars. Imagine what terrific images a
new and improved TRACEe3 (1000 fold better) could do, such as looking
at Sirius(abc).
