ASTRO: M33 with unmodified Canon 40D
Taken from a farm just south of Blueknob State Park on 24 Sept 2008.
Taken with an NP-127 at F/5.2. One 20 minute exposures using a regular Canon 40D at 400ASA. Image is 50% reduction. DeepSkyStacker used with 1 dark frame. RAW files used. |

Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |

Excellent! You need about 10 more to smooth out the grit and a little Ha to

Yes, I have one of each. I take so many wildlife images that I did not want to put that much wear on the modified 40D. Robert, now that is interesting. Very good result for 20 minutes. Of course
the HII regions don't look as good as with a modified camera, but better than I expected. And overall colour looks better than in both versions you posted with the modified camera.
