China's economy would go kapput and then they would also stop
producing, or almost, greenhouse gases.

Thus, USA's disappearance would be pretty positive for the Earth and

Indeed. Just because the US exported its manufacturing base to China
does not remove America's total responsibility for its proxy pollution
and slave labour conditions in China. See the ongoing debate about
Apple's i-Slave factories. "Lean" i-Jobs-worth died of shame. While he
was busy patenting rounded, plastic corners and i-Sheep shearing, real
Chinese people were, and probably still are, suffering at the hands of
Apple's bully-boy, overseas employees. So much easy profit. So little
humanity. Anybody would think Apple were signed up members of the
Chinese Corruption Dictatorship.

I'd say that's a necessary condition, but insufficient: to me spam _per
