Default Finderscope mounting n home made Dobsonian

I made a 4.5 inch dobsonian last year, and for a long time lived without
a finderscope. The main box of the telescope is square shaped and made
from plywood. I screwed on the finderscope mounting as true as I could
buts its simply not aligned well enough at the moment. Can you get an
adjustable mounting for such things, so that I can fine tune it ? The
rings on the scope mounting don't currently give me enough leeway.

Why don't you mount the finder on a small metal plate with elongated holes so you can get adjustment on the scope's 'tube'.
