Sorry, the beret thing must have temporarilly diminished my rationality...
but as for alt.stark.raving.loonies, lighten up!

Jim,
Could you please not include "alt.conspiracy" and

"alt.stark.raving.loonies"
when initiating posts to the sci.space groups? I clicked "reply to all"

and
just assumed the post would only go to, well, the more rational regions of
usenet.

My fault, though- I should have been more careful.

I hope you don't consider us all to be in the same boat...

Dale

....Yeah, but by crossposting over there, you allowed those sick trolls
automatic access *here*! It's almost as if you personally asked J***
M***** and his brood to troll post here :-(

And none of the regular Army I've talked to are very happy with their
new headgear either.

On Thu, 03 Mar 2005 07:19:22 GMT, in a place far, far away, Douglas
Berry made the phosphor on my
monitor glow in such a way as to indicate that:

Bruce Gagnon has long been known as an anti-nuke whiner at Cape Canaveral,
where his name is mispronounced 'Bruce Gag-Me'. Seems he's getting on the
call-Bushies-all-nazis meme pretty enthusiastically. And his photograph on
his website shows him wearing a BERET -- enough said!!

The standard headgear of the United States Army is the beret, moron.

Gen. Eric K. Shinseki. I saw a cute photoshopped picture of him online
modeling the "new Army Headgear", a Mickey Mouse hat.
It only went into effect in 2001, under the Bush administration. The Black
Beret had only been official Ranger headgear since 1975. Prior to that, it
had been worn by various units throughout the Army, until it was quashed in
the late 70s. During the 1970s, many units wore a beret. See
http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/gener...rethistory.htm for a good
thumbnail history of the beret in the U.S. Army.

The OP called Oberg a Moron. So, now what is your answer?
