If by "we" you mean you and the turd in you pocket, perhaps.
Knowledgeable people, however, know with 100% certainty that the two
bodies were unrelated.

Everything within our solar system is related, unlike stuff from
Sirius.

Where did such asteroids originate, if not as part of our solar system?
