Newfound asteroid will pass by Earth at lunar distance Thursday
OBSERVATIONS: Newfound asteroid will pass by Earth at lunar distance
Thursday The newfound visitor is the brightest asteroid, and consequently among the largest, to draw so near in the past year http://cl.exct.net/?qs=cdda37bcd59b2...69f64f35106117 |

How bright will it be at maximum? |

.... http://cl.exct.net/?qs=cdda37bcd59b2...69f64f35106117 That link didn't work for me. Why such a convoluted URL when you could just post http://www.scientificamerican.com/blog/observations/ or http://www.nasa.gov/topics/solarsystem/features/neo20100406.html or http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/asteroidwatch/? Senile Sam makes money everytime someone links through exct.net. What would you expect from someone who adores Oriel? I don't see any difference between your tactics and that of the guy who has latched on to Martin Howell and Starlord and it preys on non- conformity, the sly remarks in Sam's direction is just simply childish bullying tactics and it looks like it has been effective in Sam's case,it means that if you pop your head up in an astronomical matter,I will chop it off but that means nothing to me,setting an astronomical standard that does not exist is my business and part of that means that fools have no longer the ground to operate on leaving them nothing but boasting about 'killfiles' and what have you. All the talk of extraterrestrials,no center/no circumference ideologies and dark this and dark cannot conceal the mass denial of basic planetary facts and characteristics in order to adore a late 17th century tyrant who had a particular modelling/predictions agenda to promote, something that recently almost destroyed Western civilization whether it was financial modelling, climate modelling ,astronomical modelling or anything based on highly speculative assumptions.I mean to stop it,not by showing you how dumb you actually are but taking the much harder but satisfying course of using the very images derived from magnification to put the methods and insights of the great astronomers back in focus. Sam has got the message but because of his attempt to stand apart from unresponsive people,he will always have the choice of looking at the proof for rotation once in 24 hours by using cause and effect of twilight variations and the latitudinal speeds attached. |

A gyro will show a rotation of about 361° in 24 hours. Gerald, you may have to conclude that gyros have been corrupted by Newtonian ideals and Flamsteed's pioneering entries in the Historia Coelestis Britannica of 1712 and 1725. |
