Default Moving STS-114 (Columbia) tribute, worth a look

Hello,
Today, at work, the subject of the Columbia tragedy came up in conversation.
A colleague told me about a website that had a streaming video of a memorial
ceremony held on Feb. 1, '05 in Lufkin, TX. This is the city where much of
the orbiter's debris fell. It was a very simple, but moving tribute. I
think the people of Lufkin showed a lot of class:

There is also a video of flight control during the mission. This selection
shows how professional and clear-headed the flight controllers were at the
time of the tragedy. There is nothing graphic or gory; just inside mission
control:

They have a more comprehensive page he

I have no idea what brought this all up at work, but I've been thinking
about the STS-114 crew all day. They are heroes, all of them.

Best regards,
Mark
