Default Lunar Eclipse

I am watching lunar eclipse right now. Just 3-4% part is blackened.

Does not sound impressive. We are used to see such things everyday,
every month.

If we do not see some part of moon, what's big deal?

But one thing is sure. I never saw lunar eclipse due to clouds, odd
timing.

My mobile can not take picture of this eclipse.

About 10% part blackened.

The big deal is that if the earth is about to come between the sun and
the moon, then the moon should be fully lit up as a big white round
full moon at this time of the month, but just then, the earth actually,
just for a brief moment in time, comes right in the way, and you can
see the shadow of the earth crossing the moon.

The rest of the month, you are not looking at shadows on the moon cast
by the earth, you are just seeing the moon during the different angles
it has towards the sun.

That's the big deal. See our planet cast it's shadow on something out
in space...namely the moon. Pretty impressive to me.
