a statement mentioning the cemetary

There are many places that not structurally safe, or have collected
pockets of intense radiation. There are places where no one dares to
go, not even scientists with protective gear. One such place is the
Red Wood forest and another is the Ghost Town Cemetary. The relatives
of the people who are buried there can not visit, because in addition
to people, much of the radioctive graphite nuclear core is buried
there. It is one of the most toxic places on earth.

She was a fraud.

wether or not she biked all thru the area all by herself, does not
change the content of whats happened there or how it looks
currently....

No, but relying on her for that content is rather silly, given that
the very premise she starts from is fraudulent.

plus her website has been up a long time, but only recently did they
begin tourist visits..

Bull****.

and just for curosity she took her bike with her on the tour bus? how
strange......

And just for curiosity you think photos can't be posed after the fact?
How stupid.......

But I know trying to inject reality into BobbertWorld won't work....

the content on her site appears the same as all other reports of the
chernobyl area, which could occur here in the US...

plants have tech troubles, controllers make mistakes and BWR reactors
with elevated storage pools are just dumb...

just a few years ago the shippingport plants near pittsburgh were
found having design defects, fortunately they never caused a
disaster......

and storage pools that arent in contaminent should be illegal......

1) It appears the same TO YOU. But then, you're a recognized loon and

f*cking moron.

2) No, it couldn't occur here.

I'm pretty sure Chernobyl wasn't a GE reactor.

What design flaws?

Why? You realize that the elevated storage pools you hate so much ARE

in containment and that the in ground 'safer' ones usually are not,

right?

I think Bob is clearly out of his element here. One question though? Chernobyl surely wasn't a GE reactor, of course. But wasn't one of the major faults with Chernobyl the lack of a containment dome of any sort?

Reported on the news shippingport had backup power issues that werent
obvious, cutting backup power to hours rather than days, althoughI
dont remember the details......

they claimed if chernobly had been in containment it wouldnt of
leaked... judging by governments minimizing nuke power plant troubles
it probably would of leaked, perhaps so many wouldnt of died dumping
stuff on top of the reactor to slow the loss. let alone the
liquidators who died in the clean up and demo in the effected areas.
USSR published a very low death rate that was a attempt to look
better, while the death rate was much higher

Lack of any actual cite noted. *We're not bloody likely to take your
word for this, considering you are not an expert on nuclear power
plants.

so go look it up, i am not your research assistant. theres lots of
info out there

You clearly made the claims, you provide the cite. I'm not *your*
research assistant. Specifically, I want to know what good a
containment structure surrounding a graphite moderated reactor would do
in the same situation Chernobyl faced.

The Chernobyl core was on fire. Trying to contain the combustion
products of a huge hunk of super hot graphite in a pressure vessel like
a nuclear reactor containment structure would seem to be a losing
proposition. Pressure vessels go "boom" when the pressure exceeds their
design limits. Every structural engineer knows that, because of the
engineering and operational history of boilers. We're taught these
things in university you know.

The ball is in your court.
