Default Travel Among the Stars ?

There is an absolute speed limit of c = 3 E8 meters/sec., on
everything, no exceptions. Space travel is likely to be far, FAR
slower. Our fastest man made space object so far, has been slower by a
factor of over 20,000 ! Because of the vast distances between stars,
it isn't likely that we, or any other intelligent life, will ever be
visiting among them. This accounts for why we aren't visited by
extraterrestials. None would likely live long enough.
