Default Nov/Dec 2004 edition of free Arcturus magazine now online (Irish clubs mag.)

hello everyone,

I have posted up the November/December 2004 edition of Arcturus
magazine to the www.irishastronomy.org forum now. Apologies for the
delay.

This issue is a 24-page special devoted to the Moon with the main
highlight an interview with lunar expert and Sky and Telescope
columnist Charles Wood.

we also have articles by Shane Culleton on observing the Apollo
landing sites, Deirdre Kelleghan on remembering the Apollo 11 landing,
a sampler of lunar observing projects, and a brief trawl through the
vast store of voyages to the Moon in science fiction literature before
the twentieth century. A quick look at celestial highlights in Orion
by Seanie Morris rounds off the feature articles.

all the usual sky notes, news notes, and society news are in this
month's issue too.

you can download the 1Mb Adobe Acrobat file (arc_nov_04.pdf) at
http://www.irishastronomy.org/user_r...hp?folder_id=3

enjoy!

John Flannery,
South Dublin Astronomical Society
