Default Leonids from Japan

I tried to watch Leonids last night.
Sky was very clear. Andromeda galaxy was seen under moonlight. Limit
mag. was nearly 5.0.
From 1:30 am. to 3:30 am JST (13th 16:30 - 18:30 UT), I saw 6 or 7 Leo.
(1 was possibly spo.), 5 Tau. and 2 Spo. in 100 min. 5 Leo. was seen in
last 25 min. No bright meteor, no train.

My impression: Not very impressive, but not bad. The peak prediction was
not wrong.

From what I have read the shower has two peaks. This one was the minor one
and a larger peak is the morning of the 19th about 1200 GMT.
I used the web page http://leonid.arc.nasa.gov/
And the applet to calculate the peak from any location and date.
