Yes, I just finished S283 and had my exam result Thursday. Before that I did S282 and S198 so I can now apply for a C58 (Cert APS). SXR208 looks fun but not for me this year, I still have to finish S151 (maths) then bash on with S207(60 point physics). Good luck with your courses, I thoroughly enjoyed mine and the course materials are superb. jc |

S282 and S198 so I can now apply for a C58 (Cert APS). SXR208 looks fun but I'll have a look at those, it's good to know what is in the pipeline so to speak. Looks like I can't start S282 until 2007 which is a bummer. S198 looks defunct now. So looks like I will have to pick on something else towards the C58. not for me this year, I still have to finish S151 (maths) then bash on with S207(60 point physics). Good luck with your courses, I thoroughly enjoyed Hopefully I can skip those two as I have A levels in maths and physics, I may need a refresher course though. Looking forward to my first bit of correspondence from the OU, Christmas post permitting ! |

Just got my results too :-) I am planning on doing SXR208 next year - to go with the Level 2 Astronomy course that I can't remember the number of right now. All in all, the OU courses seem rather good - you do need to make sure that you allocate enough time to study properly as opposed to rushing things at the last minute though.... |

I'm also currently doing the S151 Maths for Science course to sharpen up my long dormant A-level maths. That was the reason for the comment about making sure not to leave it 'til the last minute ! PS I have no problem with free time, can usually spare 2 hours a day on this. I wish I had a bit more time these days.... |

I'll do one to start with to get an idea of the general difficulty of the courses. I wish I had a bit more time these days.... When your wife runs off with her boss and leaves you with a 1 year old and a 2 year old you have plenty of time to fill in the evenings after they have gone to bed...got to do something to occupy my mind you see ! |
