Project B8
I've ground off the JB Weld that held the countweights strips on, I've
roughed up them a bit so the new stuff will have more to hold onto. Instead of doing the mirror/cell last night, I waited until today, good thing too, have cleaned old rtv and other junk off and within the hour will be mounting mirror on cell and setting aside to cure. Got the spider and 2nd'ary mirror in the tube, just not all tighten down, got to mount foucer before I can do that, that'll be done later today. All in all, progress is moving along. Will start on rockerbox on wensday, if all goes right, it just might be in operation by the 4th. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord About my Car http://www.bishopcarfund.netfirms.com/ |

I understand that velcro is easier to remove than JB Weld.
