Default Atlas 2AS Launch tonight from Cape Canaveral AFS

At 5:14pm EDT (2114z) Range Control announced on 157.1 that the Atlas 2AS
will launch in about 40 minutes. The window is from 5:52pm to 8:46pm though.
At 5:24pm, Cape Control announded a launch time of 2222z. But it is common
for "holds" to delay the count.
You can get some of the freqs I'm listening to on my website shown below.

AL STERN Satellite Beach FL (28-11N 80-36W) monitoring
Patrick AFB (KCOF) NASA-KSC Shuttle Landing Fac (KX68)
Avon Park Bombing Range (KAGR) Cape Canaveral AFS (KXMR)
JSTARS E-8 Acft Integration Facility, Melbourne IAP (KMLB)
 Worldwide Military HF Communications
Life Member: Missile, Space and Range Pioneers.

On or about Wed, 19 May 2004 18:58:48 -0400, Michael Shaffer
made the sensational claim that:
Did.it.launch.yet?

Snuck right up on me it did. I'd forgotten all about it till I heard it.
