Future Progress

What does it mean to learn about the beautiful workings of our world,
the depth in which we can view this beauty and the understanding we as
people have acquired through thousands of years?

It means significant progress has been made and continues to be made.

Yet, what does it mean when the people "controlling" the policy which
governs our society understands very little of our progress?

It means stagnation.

Yet we continue to progress because future progress is fundamental to
every system (planets, people etc) in the universe. We are driven to
progress. Progress is the way.
