Book recomendation
Most of you probably already know about this book, but I've been
working on it for a couple of weeks, and it is really good. So excuse me if I'm saying something everyone already knows: How Apollo Flew to the Moon, by W. David Woods. I recommend it highly. -- Replace you know what by j to email |

Book recomendation
If I might contribute here, I wrote the book to concentrate on the
technical aspects of an Apollo flight to the Moon. Most books concentrate on the people, the politics and management, and there is a reluctance to delve too far into the technical aspects. I tried to reverse that. The book is rich in the detail of how the missions were accomplished but I also used the transcripts of the crews to give it a human aspect; to bring their humanity forward as they talk about the experiences they had. The book was derived from what I had learned while compiling the Apollo Flight Journal. David Woods On Jul 22, 7:04*pm, (Derek Lyons) wrote: How Apollo Flew to the Moon, by W.
