Default Missed Point

Somewhere the point was missed, so far ( for last saterday night at
lest ) I've won, the point is that the owner came over and in very
pointed words, said he was going to get a court order stopping me from
setting up on the sidewalk.

From my contacts yesterday, so far one newspaper e-mail me to conferm
my name/address, and made the comment that they'd like him to Try to
get that order. That sometime back they had a little something about
my operation in Rosamond.

And the other contact says Kern County owns the sidewalk as Rosamond
is not officaly a true City yet.
When that day comes ( long time yet ) then they become City owned.

So, next Saterday night IF the winds settle down, I'll see what
happens, if the winds are still blowing in the 40mph range, it'll wait
for another night.

Missed what point...? Ok, here's *my* point:

Please consider creating one thread about your conflict with FF,
preferably with descriptive subject heading, and stick to it rather than
create a new thread every few hours. Otherwise, your context is
completely lost and those who wish to follow your story have to hunt all
over for bits and pieces here and there.

He's a little scattered, and a retired Viet Nam Vet. Give the guy a break, eh?
From the looks of him I wouldn't want him setting up in front of my house every
Saturday night, but he probaby does more good than harm.

It's so funny how no matter what you say or how you say it there is
always someone on SAA who can find offense in even the most inocuous of
suggestions.

Sorry Greg,

I wasn't finding offense, I was just making sure that when it comes to Starlord
you were more or less aware of his condition. I mean, I like the guy, he's
great, but he can't even spell Saturday. I wouldn't expect him to be able to
keep himself all in one place (let alone one thread) at any given moment.

The thing is, I don't think you should be apologizing to me for your
remarks... Being fully aware of the irony: I think your comments are
most insensitive (right or wrong). Speaking of someone like this
*might* be acceptable behind their back, but in an open forum it's not
exactly polite... IMHO

Understood. The fact is, however, that you may at least take solice in the fact
that when I have something to say, I don't say go and say it behind a person's
back, as you seem to be suggesting would be more appropriate.

This is a public forum and if a participant cannot form a complete sentence
here, it is not entirely innapropriate to comment on the fact.

As I said before, I don't know that if I were a store owner, I would want the
guy setting up in front of my place every Saturday night either. Perhaps if he
were to make hinself appear more professional and presentable, he would be more
welcome on the sidwalk by the store's owners.

Public or private, any comment, fact or opinion, is a no-win
proposition: Been there, done that, both ways :-)

If you're going to insult people for their form on Usenet, you might try
using a spellchecker (see "hinself" and "innapropriate" in the above assault
on Dennis's character based on similar effronteries)

You know something, Rat... the deeper you dig yourself in on this, the more
I miss your Rat Reports.
