Default Future of ISS

In article ,
says...

The USA announced it wouldn't renew its commitment to ISS beyond 2024
(or is it 2025?).

How long the US participate in ISS depends on how long Congress
continues to appropriate funds for that project. Also, NASA already has
plans to continue ISS operations at least until 2026 based on Commercial
Crew and Commercial Cargo plans:

With the USA having lost interest in international cooperation, I am
curious on how difficult, purely at the technical level, it would be for
europe/japan/canada to take over command and control of the "US segment"?

NASA has not at all lost interest in international cooperation. For
example, the Artemis program includes quite a bit of international
cooperation.
