I believe this was a vibration test stage. It is currently on display
outside the plant gate. One side, behind the trees, has a coating of green
algae, but otherwise, it doesn't look too bad. The huge size is evidenced
by the comparison to the bus and teachers standing in front of it.

Indoors, the final three shuttle fuel tanks are being completed while the
building is being rebuilt for the Ares program. No pictures allowed in
there!

Okay, the photos don't come up, but the links are there. Tom Freiling tells
me this was the unflown F1 stage of booster 515, and not a test article. My
bad. The old girl doesn't look too badly, though.

You shouldn't be posting inline photos to Usenet messages anyway. Just post
the links without the IMG tags, like this:

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Aurora7/4.jpg
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Aurora7/3.jpg
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Aurora7/2.jpg
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Aurora7/1.jpg

That way the reader can either cut and paste, or click on the links,
depending on what newsreader they're using.
