What is the Killmars Organization and who was Pierre Robert?

Killmars looks like an organization with a very strange purpose. Is it
even possible to change the orbit of Mars Moon Phobos - and why would
anyone do that?

How hard would you need to 'push'? It looks like the the second moon
Deimos is used in the end as a kind of brake.

I heard about Pierre Robert some years ago in Toronto. He was supposed
to be some kind of genious but he was hardly more than a boy.
