2003 Leonid MAC Workshop

International Science Meeting on the Leonid Meteor Storms

Abstract and registration deadline: July 10, 2003.
Meeting dates: August 28-30, 2003.
Location: NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett
Training and Conference Center.

This open 3-day meeting will follow up on past Leonid
MAC Workshops to discuss the ongoing data reduction
and modeling efforts after the successful 2002 Leonid
Multi-Instrument Aircraft Campaign.
Topics of discussion include:

o meteor stream models
o composition and morphology of cometary dust
o physical processes in meteors
o exogenous delivery of organics at origin of life
o effect of meteors on the upper atmosphere
o the satellite impact hazard
