Default Polar finder problem

Living at 62 degree north I find it extremely uncomfortable to use the polar
finder scope.**Looking*for*a*90 (or 45)*degree*prism/mirror*(and adapters?)
to*make*my*go*at*astrophotography somewhat more pleasant.

My mount is a Vixen GPDX

I don't want to lose any field of view.

Has anyone here solved this problem already?

Tips and/or pointers greatly appreciated.

TIA

(sorry for double-posting, just want to raise the question again)

I have tried to solve this with a 90 degree prism but either I loose to much
FOV or I can't reach focus at all.

Am I the only one with this problem? I have tried 40-50 degrees and it's
still a pain... How do you folks do it? All using the drift method?
I use a Nikon D70 coupled with a 300 mm (or less) lens and find I can do
well with just polar alignment.

Realising I belong to the 62+north minority, I still want to do "it".
(comfortably)

TIA again
