Same weather, but on a lower temperature scale here. Sunny and clear sky. Temp here trying to get over 70F, instead of 100F down there. Hard east wind blowing out of the gorge, is the equivalent of the Santa Ana winds you are getting there. Temp as of 2:15 PM is 65F. Wind is east at 19 mph. Humidity 52%.

I suppose you will be going to the World Series game tonight. In your box seats, or maybe in one of those luxury sky boxes courtesy of one of you affluent friends. Well, it's there in town this year, so why not go? You even have the hometown team to root for!

A beautiful 65F here in Gresham as of 12:45 PM. Sunny and clear sky. But some east wind at 13 mph. Humidity 53%.

Trapped two big mice in my kitchen before breakfast this morning! The HVAC peanut butter bait worked this time. Just call me "Trapper John".

Had a nice lunch with Kim yesterday. And also my old friend Dennis and his girlfriend dropped by and joined us. Dennis is my age, but his Vietnamese girlfriend is only 42. Lucky guy. I guess his pickup line was, "I was in Vietnam before you were even born there."

*** After you ate the mice for breakfast, what did you do with the fur ??
Would make a nice hat for dumpster diving. I can see where you would
envy your friend with the Vietnamese chick ... that of hand-jive must be
taking its toll on your wrist ... good thing you're ambidextrous.

Then what happens? The clouds part, and a new weather age begins?

Sun is bright here too! But also the east wind is blowing like hell! 21 mph right now! Temp 66F. Humidity down to 43%. Leaves blowing everywhere. Beginning to look and feel a lot like Halloween.

Winter's coming. Some mousy mittens sound good.
