Default Strange Artifact in Image Tonight

It's clear in Dallas tonight so I thought I would set up a sequence
before heading to the in-laws. First image came down with some
sort of strange artifact I have never seen before.

Any ideas??.....

But he needs to invest in a multi-element EP :-)

Naw ! I think the guy who took the image has obviously lost his sanity and
doctored the image, because as we more mature people here know, there ain't no
Sanity Clause.

IMHO, it is faked. The image in the background required an
exposure of at least a few minutes, and even if the constant
position of the artifact is compatible with the expected
mean speed of the famous vehicle, one cannot imagine
that the reindeer legs didnt move during all that time.
Unless the vehicle speed approaches c, but then there
are probably range and acceleration constraints to be assessed.

Of course there is a Sanity Clause, I heard it directly from Cheeco Marx.
Every contract has them.

I do not think that the image was faked. I saw the same image in my 60mm
Tasco with plastic objective at 600x magnification.
