I have had mine for quite some time. It is a superb performer. The mount is wonderful, and is typical of scope bought mounts in general. Not as good by any stretch of the imagination as a Paramount, for example, but I can track pretty well for 5 minutes or so. The scope has a long cooldown time, due to the nature of the design, but will outperform many of similar aperture on most nights. I'd say it takes about 3 hours for a total cooldown without using any help- fans, etc. The price also seems reasonable for what you get. Of course, it's definitely not a beginner scope, so if that's what you're looking for look elsewhere. HTH, Zack |
