Sure it is wonderful to walk along a new path that others have never walked before and that is the real reward however I too have tread on the same path as other astronomers but have seen on that journey of many paths where they made a wrong turn with a dead end to it. With people living at the South pole it is fairly easy to consider the seasons in a way that wouldn't have occurred to Copernicus,Galileo and their contemporaries as we are familiar with the polar day/night cycle hence this is the path to the surface rotation as a function of the Earth motion around the Sun and through space. In the era of YouTube it is only a matter of time before the visual explanation emerges and I look forward to that. |

The video explanation is coming anyway so spew out that sour and dismal response or the inanities of social/political opinions, genuine astronomy will prevail after centuries of misuse. |
