I have read some posts that imply "sidewalk astronomy". Charging for "a
look"
is NUTS! Who in their right mind would involk a price to "have a look" at
the sky?

I've often thought we would actually get more traffic if we were charging.
:-)

People seem to value things more when they pay something for them.

Someone who wants to get paid for their time? It's not much mind; I once
worked out that I make an average of $8/hour. Wow. But fortunately, I am
retired and it supplements my pension. I also enjoy being out with the sky
and with people. And you'd have to enjoy it, for a measly $8/hour.
