Default Age of Universe Edges Closer to Officer Bert's Prediction!

Reality is anyone can predict the age of the universe. Its up for grabs.
Best bet older is better. Universe's age depends on its size(LY
measurements) we use the longest EM waves to relate the universes age
with. I relate that to "all sizes relate to age." Tall tree very old.
I myself relate the age of the universe like rings of a tree..or rings
of an onion Go figure Bert

Your inability to discuss these variables and the nature of the
changes
they would make to EM.

Again, not demonstrated. You need to learn
how to spell "assume".

Lack of discussion noted.

Why should we discuss things with a known
kookstone kopp? It just goes in one of your
ears and out the other. Then when things get
a little ruff, you're off to la-la land, and some
other ignorant gooseling comes in and tries to
ruffle a few feathers. The game's over for me,
Deco. You're a peanut-fart in the wind.

I withdraw my nomination of the esteemed double-doctor Chung for
Clueless Newbie of the Month and instead offer painsnuh for the same
award in recognition of his on-going delusion that Phineas is my
sockpuppet, even after being told how silly the idea is.

Seconds?

But please pretend it never happened - but it did. You're more Galaxy

Tim Allen was hilarious in that one! And
Sigourney Weaver was and is the greatest!

And if really know me you did, more like

Perhaps.

Yup. I'm impressed, Phineas. That's most
insightful. And thanks to Scott and David,
Barry and Zinni, Owen and Odysseus and a
host of others who represent science and
sanity in a.a, we often come back from the
edge to tell all the "alt." that we have seen.

Nothing.

Certainly nothing you're even remotely interested

UV point for Phineas.

Well, there's an honor for you, Mother Goose!

Let me see now... Phineas T. Puddleduck gets a

with Brad Guth?

The subject under discussion was cosmology.
PTP responded to one of my descriptions with
"Inflation". Then i said that "Guth" would thank
him. My meaning here was that the great father
of inflation theory, the particle physicist and
cosmologist Alan Guth would thank the budding
astrophysicist PTP for mentioning his theory.

In the context of the conversation, Guth was
properly identified to anyone who was really and
in truth a budding astrophysicist. IF PTP were
really and truly a budding astrophysicist, he
would have readily associated "Guth" with Alan
Guth.

However, since PTP is in reality NOT a budding
astrophysicist, and is instead a kook-chasing
kook and all-around posier, Art Deco, then it is
easy to understand why he would think of "Brad"
instead of "Alan" when the surname "Guth" is
mentioned.

Now go hump somebody else's leg, silly gooseling.

"And no, I did not have sex with my son. But if I did I certainly
wouldn't tell you. Something so beautiful and precious should be kept
private." -- Kathy L. Mosesian, or possibly not really her, confesses
she may be a liar and committer of incest with her own son, in MID:

The reporter asked Colin Powell (or George Bush), "What proof do you
have that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction?"
He replied, "We kept the receipts." -- Bill Hicks

"They thought I was fair game. I was an instrument of purpose to achieve
their desires and not 100 percent real and ALSO that they had me by the
short curlies because I thought that the world revolved around them and
therefore I think that I am fair game and rightly so. If they want to
play dirty, I get to too. It's not a one-way street. I will use the
physcial strength that I have over them, my superior 5'7-3/4" height
advantage, the boxing moves I paid to learn, the suprise of pussyfooting
up to them with their back to me in a public place 18 1/2 years after
the fact and thus not only do will they not know that I am but a pica's
distance away from them, but that I even exist on earth." -- Chris Tsao
is secretly John Wentzky's psychic twin. MID:

Looney Maroon nominee for August 2006 Johnny D Wentzky foamed:
"You never asked someone who goes into areas of the internet that are
only for adults who has an underage id somehow or another if they are a
cop posing as an underage person online?
I guess lots of people just don't watch dateline or read stories much.
Why don;t you go to pervertedjustice, com and see what they do. They are
awash in their self-proclaimed glory after they lied to membners of the
public.
They are awash in their self-proclaimed glory after they posed as an
underage person and agreed to do all sorts of sex acts wioth adult
males, and they are adults posing as teenager themselves. They make
themsleves into liars by falsely impersonating underage persons and by
not fuilfilling the words they tell the victims online in their chats.
Why don't you read it where they tell these victims of their deceit
about how they have been with grown men and such? Why don't you read it
where they say, "That would be cool." after someone makes an advance
towards an adult who is posing as a teenager? And, where they agree to
meet the person, etc.
Lost control, didn't you?
Is that why you feel as if you need to lie so much now? I see where lots
of these false impersonation games are not sticking. They feel as if
they can lie and then order the victims to get counseling in the
gayblade, governmental, pro-choice tax leech counseling centers. They
are doing nothing more than usury and fraud in many cases." -- Wentzky
almost comes out of the closet as a pedo/ephebophile in MID:

Oh dear Cardinal and special civil gooseling
(sorry, i abhor commas, use 'em only when
their lack may cause mayhem)...

Thank you for the dance, fersure, but i am
ignoring no points, important nor otherwise.

You picture some of us here in alt.astronomy
as "saucerheads" (not all, i pray, for there
have always herein been a lot who are earthy
down-to-the-ground science types--these help
to keep those of us you call saucerheads from
getting our heads *too* stuck upina clouds!)
and it's easy to see why you deem us so. But
we are not completely and totally unhinged!

As the "alt" in alt.astronomy means, as you
most assuredly know, "alternative", and as
there is plenty of room in science, especially
in astronomy/cosmology for wonderful and
awesome discovery and learning, those of us
you call saucerheads like to be on the cutting
edge of the discovery process.

To this end we [tinw]...

1) search the internet, libraries, science papers
and all else we can get our hands on for what
might be called "official" cutting-edge ideas.
These are thoughts set forth by astronomers,
trained as scientists and worthy of being heard
and discussed.

2) discuss these cutting-edge ideas here in
a forum where both open-minded and narrowly
focused people like to post and to state their
welcome opinions on these "official" cutting-
edge ideas.

3) and we, well some of us perhaps worthy of
the nomenclature "saucerheads", do frequently
like to discuss our own ideas, as well as the
thoughts and ideas of people we respect and
admire, but who are not astronomers (as in
ferinstance Isaac Asimov and Gordon Wolter)
and hopefully to generate lively discussion on
these ideas. Yes, dear and charming Cardinal,
we risk the attack and humor of those in the
kook-chasing groups. Yes, we have as much
fun with you as we can, while you continue to
benefit us [tinu] with your presence here.

So we are humbled by your esteemed attention
to our newsgroup and to our sometimes crazy
and seemingly inane, but awesome, wonderful
and universe-shaking thoughts and ideas. We
may sometimes amuse ourselves by jumping
all over your mistakes and ignorance, but i
assure you it's all in fun. Personally, i am
hoping that some of you will become more and
more interested in this "alternative" astronomy
and come up with some of your own awesome,
wonderful and universe-shaking ideas.

The dance is *everyting*!

The subject under discussion was cosmology.
PTP responded to one of my descriptions with
"Inflation". Then i said that "Guth" would thank
him. My meaning here was that the great father
of inflation theory, the particle physicist and
cosmologist Alan Guth would thank the budding
astrophysicist PTP for mentioning his theory.

In the context of the conversation, Guth was
properly identified to anyone who was really and
in truth a budding astrophysicist. IF PTP were
really and truly a budding astrophysicist, he
would have readily associated "Guth" with Alan
Guth.

However, since PTP is in reality NOT a budding
astrophysicist, and is instead a kook-chasing
kook and all-around posier, Art Deco, then it is
easy to understand why he would think of "Brad"
instead of "Alan" when the surname "Guth" is
mentioned.

Now go hump somebody else's leg, silly gooseling.

Ooooh I've really dug you hard with my questions haven't I painius? You
are trying EVERYTHING to get out of answering them. Both you and Bill
ran off spnaked!!
