No Shuttle launch, Shuttle program mothballed?
I heard some rumours in the press that if they fail to get Discovery off the
pad this week the Shuttle program will be mothballed. I find it very hard to believe. Is there any truth in these reports? I mean, I can imagine if the Shuttle blows up again and kills all the astronauts they will mothball the thing, but not because there is a delay, for Christ sake! -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

No Shuttle launch, Shuttle program mothballed?
On Tue, 4 Jul 2006 16:44:51 +0200, in a place far, far away, "Widget"
made the phosphor on my monitor glow in such a way as to indicate that: I heard some rumours in the press that if they fail to get Discovery off the pad this week the Shuttle program will be mothballed. I find it very hard to believe. Is there any truth in these reports? No. Many in the press are idiots. |
