Any amateur or professional meeting in Australia over Jan-Feb? -- The schools here in God's Own Country just broke up for the summer vacation last Friday and won't be going back until the very end of January. Don't expect too much to be happening until then. The website of the Sydney-based Astronomical Society of NSW is he http://www.asnsw.com/ Their first club meetings for 2004 are scheduled for Feb 6 & 27, but they also have observing sessions in January. Their Links page has links to all the other major amateur clubs in the country. Bearing in mind that Oz is the size of Western Europe or the Lower 48 states of the US, where exactly in the country are you planning to go? |
