Default Phoenix Backshell?

In this picture about a 1/3 of the distance across from the right
(almost on the horizon) you can see spiculation or white spike,
looking all the world like the MER backshell/debris did when shining
from a distance. No detail but what would impact the camera like
that? Can't wait to see the orbital shot of the landing see
