It is about time that you learned how to spell.

JF isn't a 'native' to English.

Bob, this was a stupid thing to say, even for you.

Jeff

actually no, more than one poster here has e mailed me privately
stating he works for a military contractor. my brother does too. with
military budgets being cut job losses are inevitable......

no one wants to see their job end...

When was the last time the US invaded a country in order to claim its

Spanish American War under the first Roosevelt. Adding territory was a
side effect of both WWI and WWII though.

That would be offensive power, but we don't do
that anymore, do we?

It's possible t say we haven't done that since anywhere from the Spanish
American War to WWII.

However, if _you_ were better at reading you would have perceived that
the mis-spelt word ("Arianne" which should be "Ariane") is not an
English word. It is a proper noun in French style. The name comes from
the French spelling of the mythological character Ariadne - see
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariane_%28mythologie%29.

Regardless of whether JFM is French Canadian, or normal Canadian, or
immigrant, one who writes so much in rocketry newsgroups really ought to
know how to spell the name of a European rocket family which has been in
use for over 30 years. And a few other things, too.
