Thanks for the correction Rhonda. I will still always remember you as RLK :-) .
I guess my point was well made. I recall the "threat" being paperwork handed to
him by friends I have there from my USN days not *me* going there and I have a
pretty good memory.

Since Alan has chosen to ignore the truthful version I posted and others recall
it correctly (rather than his distorted version) then more links shouldn't be necessary.

people on this ng are good people, at least as far as it is possible to tell
in this medium.

Usenet brings out the worst and best in many. Rarely does it reflect the

Well, I am paying attention, and Alan and Herb have proven their
character (or, I should say lack thereof) many times over. How many
times do I have to ask Alan to retract that offensive allegation that
Gus started the fire? And Herb, well, I have yet to see one
intelligent post from him.
You're correct; usenet brings out the best and worst in many. However,
I've only seen worst out of those two, as well as Hedrick and Mosley.
Some people don't have a "best."
