Default quiet sun [Mon July 18]

10 days ago 6 sunpot groups on disk - today sun pretty quiet with no spots and just two weak filaments [prominences in silhouette on disk] but two nice proms on east and west limbs posted at http://home.freeuk.com/m.gavin/pstnew.htm.

Have updated my obs of July 13 showing bright flare at http://home.freeuk.com/m.gavin/pstmg.htm
that later produced CME and eruptive prom when over the west limb.
