Except that Redstone wasn't an IRBM. (Range of about 1500 SM, NRE, or
so.
The Redstone was a MRBM (Medium Range Ballistic Missile) with a best
range of about 200 SM. It was nominally deployed from unprepared
forward locations (for small values of unprepared), and was nominally
mobile (For valies of mobile consisting of about 20 trucks, and the
missile being assembled on-site begore fuelling)

It carved out the niche that the Pershing later fit into.
For the first Western IRBM, Thor's a fair bet, with Jupiter right
behind.
As for Soviet stuff, I'm not to hip to the timelines on their smaller
ballistic missiles (SS-4 and SS-5, the Cuban Missile Crisis birds).
