Default Arming Outer Space

He said we were doing the *wrong* thing. That is not the same as
advocating doing *nothing,* it implies one should do the *right* things,
instead.

It is easy to critisize, even if you don't know the right answers yourself. You
can tell when progress isn't being made to your satisfaction. Interning
innocent Arabs is unjust, but the alternatives are to lets them roam free and
worry about some of them being terrorists, or deport them all. If you assume
them all innocent and require positive proof of their guilt, in many cases the
first proof of their guilt will be the terrorist act they commit, as will will
not always be able to catch them before their plans come to fruition, therefore
we cannot be secure. Other wise we can just smile everytime a bomb goes off in
our country and be glad it is not us....this time. Ignoring the problem doesn't
make it go away. Perhaps we can lower the standards and safety margin we are
willing to accept, but that's just giving the barbarians what they want, and it
marks a decline in our civilization if we are unable or unwilling to fight
them.
