The trailer was funny - Nazi flying saucers to the Moon. :-D

Can't say much for the scientific accuracy, though... (It's the
FAR SIDE, fer cryin' out loud!)

This is a comedy, you know. :-D
I'm surprised that "The X-Files" never had some fun with this concept.
This YouTube link runs a lot smoother than the embedded one on the webpage:

...Actually, according to Chris Carter quite some time ago at a
convention appearance, he mentioned that there'd been "at least one"
script submitted dealing with captured "Nazi UFO's", but apparently
were rejected because they didn't quite fit the tone of the series.

The series had a "tone"?!
It was all over the place - from horror, to mystery, to dadaism, to
parody, to high comedy.

Then again, I wouldn't know. "X-Files" was a series I never did get
into past the first couple of episodes...

At its best (and it was at its best _a lot_) that show was downright
brilliant.
The interaction of Scully and Mulder ranked right up there with Steed
and Mrs. Peel, except in "The Avengers" neither of them were convinced
that the other one was completly off their little rocker. :-D

...Yes. A deaf one.

Well, I'm not going to rescue _you_ when Lord Kimbo drags you off for an
orgy at the Earth's core.
Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
Right up till you figure out that the musical entertainment will consist
of a female accordion player, and by then it will be too late to escape.
