I was in Oxford today and got the december issue of Sky and Telescope.
Just a word of caution: the price on their database when they scanned
the barcode was 5.99 (i.e. the dollar price). I queried this and they
charged my the UK price £3.25.
Interestingly, the "Borders" bookshop in Oxford is selling the
January 2007 issue of S&T. This is a US import and has the almanac
for 40 degrees, c.f. the 50 degree North one included with the
european printed S&Ts.

check what you get charged

Pete

This has happened to me on several occasions in various stores. I always
check what they ring up/scan in.
