Astronomy Holidays?
Hi,
I'm setting up a company here in Ireland and its going to be aimed at specialist groups. I wonder if Astronomy could be one of them? This isn't an advert as i'm not selling anything yet. Someone told me that Ireland has the darkest skies in Europe. I can't say if thats true but i can see the milky way here every night so long as there is not cloud of course. We have no street lights here except in the towns and they are tiny and miles away. So my question is... Would anyone be interested in going on a weekend/long weekend away to do some astronomy? Would people usually want to take their own kit or have it provided? If it doesn't sound like a good idea i'll concentrate on my other streams of holiday. -- Thanks, Mark Murphy Exclusive Ireland Tel/Fax 051 56 56 38 Tel 085 100 1860 |
