10:09 AM PST and where is Bert? 38F here in the Silicon Forest.
Cloudy, calm, not raining now, but nothing but rain in the 4 day
forecast. Humidity 100%. Low 38F. Expected high 49F. The paper
says that fraud up in Oregon, including in applying for food stamps,
benefits, and unemployment. Can you imagine that? Kim shared a deli
sandwich and potato salad with my last night while I told her tales
from my "glory days".

I'm sure your past is quite a sordid tale, AA... Glory
hole days notwithstanding.

Glory days, but also filled with great loneliness and despair. Yes,
it was before I found a porpoise in my life! Perhaps you still need
to find a porpoise in yours.

47F and cloudy at 5:30 PM. Not raining yet. Took a box of ice cream
drumsticks out to Kim's table this morning and out there in that
chilly morning hour we had, as she called it, an ice cream party! She
said she had never done that before, in the morning, out in the cold!
But it was fun! 23 year old Sophia has not returned from her vacation
yet, and I miss her! She gives me such special treatment and so any
freebies!

"A younger girl keeps a-rollin' 'cross my mind
No matter how much I try
I can't seem to leave her memory behind
I remember her eyes, soft dark and brown
Said she'd never been in trouble, or even in town
A younger girl keeps a-rollin' 'cross my mind"

At best, you ( DoubleĀ·A and Saul ) could be someone's ā€œgrandĀ·paā€.
It's not your fault, per se, that's just how it is.

If the economy were to pick up, oil would top 100 dollars a barrel and
interst rates would soar ( i.e. the dollar would freeĀ·fall ).

The powers that be would never allow that... would never allow you.
