Default using a radio

It seems that listening to the sun and certain planets
is possible with a communications receiver.
The I have can receive in all modes up to 30 MHz.

If I may ask:
What can be heard on what frequency
and what sort of antenne is required?

Primarily Sun and Jupiter, broadband, wire dipoles. More details at
