I hardly dare say it but - well done Beeb - if that doesn't whet a few
appetitites nothing will.

Cheers

7/10? That's a high score by previous Beeb standards.

Any chance of seeing you in Tenterden next Wednesday for the Homewood
Mars party?

Cheers

One small niggle - all the interviewees seemed to have got the
astronomy bug at grandpa's knee - rather offputting for anyone over 8
- if grandpa didn't do it, its too late for me.

As I was a first time dabbler (but only for a couple of years) at 40+
and have now come back for a second bite at 60, I hope they didn't
lose too many of us slightly older viewers.

Cheers

It seemed to me that the INT was complete overkill for the "pop"
images they presented. Andromeda was cut off and Uranus was saturated.

Granted.

The INT however was built and paid for by US all of the UK taxpayers
watching. When have we EVER had the chance to point INT where we want ?
Next time, we know better. Our last object was NGC 6543, a perfect fuzzy
for INT, there were gasps when it came up just as the feed went down.

PPARC would do well to think about running similar events every year.

Yes, excellent.

I was a bit amused by the amount of light pollution they were
throwing up around the Joddrell Bank dish.
